You will work with a core team developing global tracking and reporting of various environmental, social, and governance plans; building consensus across teams; and coordinating execution across regions and channels. You will work with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and execute innovative programs that drive awareness and maximize impact, globally.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement projects contributing to reducing carbon emissions from value chain.
Engage with suppliers, peer groups or industry associations on supply chain sustainability and carbon reduction roadmap.
Plans the project roadmap & goals, ensuring all requirements are met.
Manage roadmap milestones to deliver on time and on budget to the assigned projects within the sustainability roadmap along with expected return on investment. Integrates into product development deliverables, business and financial reviews.
Source and structure data that is not readily available. Skill-set to do first-pass at analyzing data on performance and structure of supply chains and/or identify the right resources to perform necessary analytics.
Responsible for the day-to-day planning and delivery of global sustainability programs/campaigns that include Scopes 1,2,3 emissions tracking, media relations, metrics development and tracking, customer inquiries, internal training and product development support.
Work with multidisciplinary project teams across the company to align project milestones, schedules, cost, and metrics to deliver a Scope 3 decarbonization roadmap.
Use benchmarking and research skills to proactively identify issues, risks and trends.
Develop deep understanding of sustainability trends, competitive landscape, and internal stakeholders, to inform messaging and positioning.
Create and deliver compelling stories by clearly articulating the value delivered and outcomes achieved.
Stay abreast of industry trends and ability to introduce new and creative approaches to sustainability programs that grow our reputation.
Demonstrate capability to work on multiple types of projects at any one time. Manage with different target audiences and drivers. Work with cross-business and cross-regional teams to leverage expertise where is it available to get the job done.
Collaborate and coordinate closely with the marketing organization, legal, public relations, other functional teams, as well as the sales and marketing organization. Work effectively with regions to develop programs that meet global needs or can be easily leveraged globally.
Identify metrics to measure every program. Understand the tools available to determine the metrics.
Have good problem-solving skills and be able to gather and analyze information and as necessary, help develop appropriate options and actions.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or energy/sustainability; from an accredited institution.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years' experience developing sustainability programs, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
A high level of enthusiasm, creativity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and effectiveness as a team player with experience of planning and executing ESG projects.
Industry-relevant and corporate sustainability experience is preferred.
Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational and written/verbal communication skills; ability to sell ideas and present strategies at a peer level.
Demonstrate strategic thinking, initiative, and creativity and proven track record for innovation.

Ability to take complex topics and provide succinct, simplified messaging.
Strong project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside the organization.
