POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting all aspects of Business Development related to site prospecting and landowner engagement. You will manage pipelines and campaigns for project sites and landowner prospects in various regional markets, build relationships with landowners, and secure site control for designated project sites. In addition, you will support Galehead in market development activities.
Manage all aspects of the sales and acquisition pipeline for site and landowner prospecting.
Originate development opportunities on the best, most competitive project sites with ownership profiles that vary from private individual landowners to large institutional corporations to municipalities.
Utilize any and all avenues required to research, prospect, interact with, and lead landowner conversations for Galehead’s project origination efforts.
Become a power user of Galehead’s proprietary land analytics platform, LandCommand™, to identify and qualify site opportunities; work with the internal team to expand and streamline siting capabilities, as needed and appropriate.
Manage multiple markets, landowners, and negotiations simultaneously.
Support the development and/or lead the execution of project site optimization, expansion, and easements, to include managing relationships with current landowner(s), executing new land agreements to optimize the development plan, and securing easement rights, as needed.
Serve as the primary “Face of Galehead” to landowners.
Maintain documentation of customer engagements, sales pipeline, and relevant notes in Galehead’s CRM.
Support Galehead’s new Market Development and the exploration of new market verticals.
Overcome adversity on a day to day basis to identify landowner contact information, negotiate, and secure site control.
Actively participate in business growth and strategy sessions.

High volume activity position, must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Interest in, and experience with, telephone sales, energy siting, renewable energy, and/or sustainability a plus.
Familiarity with GIS and mapping software is a plus.
Experience with real estate agreements preferred.
