Essential Job Functions
The following is a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position that may be familiar with prior experience or no previous experience:
Perform system modelling of a designated area annually to develop capital project recommendations.
Maintain system model of designated area consistently to evaluate impact of addition of new loads.
Perform coordination studies and recommend recloser and downline device settings, aligned with TCEC standards.
Assist in project management of new substation construction.
Assist in project management of member energy programs, including demand response programs.
Perform analytics of TCEC load and use forecasting models to predict future loads for modelling and demand response impacts.
Assist in communicating with TCEC partner vendors and consultants for a variety of projects and assist in execution of planned projects.
Assist in review of applications related to member energy programs.
Assist in review of electrical connection standards for demand response assets.
Manage capital project execution through communication with Operations.
Perform data analytics of member and load-related data, creating reports as necessary for trend evaluation.
Create goals each quarter to contribute to TCEC initiatives, managing self in accomplishment of those goals.
Assist in annual budget creation for capital and non-capital expenditures.
Understand and adhere to all TCEC policies and procedures.

Computer Skills -- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Strong skills in computer usage. Preferred familiarity with system modelling software (Milsoft) and/or report building in Tableau.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical preferred
Entry-level or up to 3 years' related experience
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
Advanced computer skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
Must have and maintain a valid Texas State Driver's License. If a valid Texas State Driver's License has not been obtained, then it must be acquired in a reasonable amount of time as specified by the cooperative.
