AECOM is seeking an Risk Insurance Analyst based in Baltimore, MD. This position will have responsibilities providing insurance risk management for public transportation construction projects. While the position can support a telecommute option, the position requires the incumbent to be located near the Baltimore, Maryland area.
Duties and responsibilities
Serve as technical insurance support and point of contact with a wide range of insurance related activities
Represent the insurance team with multiple departments / disciplines such as procurement, finance, real estate, programming, construction, and senior management
Serve as liaison to other insurance team members, senior management, safety, risk management, and finance
Displays knowledge and ability to apply insurance practices in carrying out a variety of assignments as dictated by project needs
Coordinate with agency stakeholders resolving issues surrounding Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP) for construction
Produces regularly scheduled reports from multiple data sources (from contractors, brokers, carriers, and administrators)
Analyze and present complex data for purposes of evaluation and offer recommendations for senior level decision-making for coverages, endorsements, and limits as applicable
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to recognize, process, prioritize, and present insurance related information
Assist with insurance training for other agency disciplines (real estate, finance, procurement, safety, and risk management)

Minimum Requirements :
BA/BS plus 6 years with risk insurance infrastructure projects
5 plus years of experience in development, implementation and closeout of multi-billion-dollar construction
5 plus years experience in insurance contract negotiations
Experience in loss control, insurance underwriting, claims cost control programs, and collateral agreements
Preferred Qualifications :
Professional Designations/Certifications in Insurance, Risk Management and Construction such as: Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate In Claims (AIC)
Experience in Rolling Wrap-Up programs for public agencies
Knowledge and work experience in the design of self-insurance and loss-sensitive risk funding approaches to controlling the cost of risk for public entities and construction contractors
Experience with construction risk management and commercial property, casualty, and marine insurance
Experience with Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) and or Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) and or traditional risk funding approaches for public works programs
