Work You'll Do As an HR Strategy Senior Manager, you will use your knowledge of and experience with HR strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Maintaining all aspects of the project, including monitoring and identifying any project issues to mitigate risk
Maintaining a hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are accurate â¢ Staying well-informed on current Human Capital leading practices and market trends â¢ Leading your team to deliver superior results for your client â¢ Utilize your leadership experience through mentoring, training and developing other members of the team â¢ Lead and contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc. â¢ Lead in business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, and client presentations â¢ Building your brand within the firm and in the market for the strong HR Strategy & Capability knowledge you possess â¢ Championing and supporting a culture of diversity and inclusiveness for Deloitte practitioners

Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: HR Strategy, HR Employee Experience, HR Operating Models, HR Outsourcing Advisory, HR Technology and/or Digital Strategy
Minimum eight+ years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry role, with experience leading teams
Experience in carrying a business development quota for consulting work, ramping up pursuit teams and leading end-to-end business development pursuits
Proven experience in business development and/or proposal development in support of related specialty areas
Proven ability to consult and share knowledge on specific Human Capital expertise
Experience in leading current/future state road mapping, requirements gathering workshops, running labs, and/or facilitating meetings
Experience in leading vendor selection including RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services â¢ Experience driving team performance resulting in alignment with project vision and strategy â¢ Completed Bachelors' degree
Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Preferred: â¢ External consulting experience for a Big 4 firm or large consulting company â¢ Well-developed industry alignment (Consumer, Financial Services, Life Science & Healthcare, Energy, Resources & Industrial, and/or Technology, Media & Telecommunications) â¢ Agile and creative mindset when problem solving and troubleshooting on client issues â¢ Demonstrated confidence and maturity to work with senior executives â¢ Demonstrated high degree of emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to effectively manage global clients and diverse project teams â¢ Ability to deepen client relations through exceptional client service and value â¢ Experience in mentoring, training and developing junior members of the team; experience in employee performance reviews â¢ Experience in project planning, budget oversight and staffing of project teams including time management and quality assurance â¢ Exemplary in leadership accountability, work ethic and professionalism â¢ Advanced degree in related specialization area â¢ Demonstrated interest in a profession in Human Resources through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc. â¢ Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
