Will be responsible for advanced, in-depth research, design, and development of electromechanical products and/or systems. Will lead and perform and complex activities in design, fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical and/or electromechanical products from concept through production.

• Leads and participates in major engineering design projects thru all phases of product introduction from conceptual design, design capture, layout, prototype developments and testing to final design and release.
• Leads and participates in part and assembly design, documentation bills of materials and engineering change orders.
• Leads or conducts complex technical analysis related to the design of new or improvement of existing devices, packaging, peripherals and systems.
• Estimates project hours, project costs, product costs and timeliness of complex projects.
• May also be responsible for project management of large projects, including writing of design specifications, developing a development schedule and coordinating key milestones with other departments.
• May direct or assign tasks to other engineers on large development projects.
• Develop product costs and product designs for serviceability and manufacturability using existing technologies.
• Participates in ensuring the professional growth and job related education of junior level engineers.

• Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.

• 5 years of experience in the design and packaging of electromechanical and peripheral devices.
• 1 to 2 years of project or team lead experience.
• Must possess advanced in-depth knowledge in the areas of Electro-mechanical components and related documentation, device and component design and related documentation, production and manufacturing processes, 3D CAD tools and CAD modeling, Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project, manufacturing processes and their limitation and design for ESD and conducted and radiated emissions.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks desired.
• Should have a good understanding of gaming regulations and how they relate to product design.
• Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
