The Change Analyst assists in leading IGT's global change management process, ensuring changes are brought to production with zero, or minimum service or business interruption. The position will work closely with site Change Assessors and Approvers to guarantee the process is understood, adhered to, and promote successful implementation into the production environment.
Manage global Changes (RFCs) throughout the entire life cycle
Reviews outstanding RFCs awaiting consideration or awaiting action
Associate incidents to change, and document accordingly
Assists in maintaining goals and objectives within the process
Analyzes Change records to determine any trends or apparent problems which occur
Ensures consistency throughout process execution
Perform (PIRs) Post Implementation Reviews
Exercises judgment within general practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions
Helps to maintain global RFC Assessor and Approver Matrix
Collaborate with teammates to determine process changes that will meet new business requirements
Aligns with colleagues to determine how processes may be improved.
Assists in producing training material as the need arises.
ITIL Practitioner equivalent in Service Support or Service Transition (Change Mgt)
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of production environments and software batch release process
Comprehensive knowledge of Office suite, PC operating systems, and configurations.
Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative
Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and makes sound business judgments
Strong trouble-shooting skills
Ability to see opportunities to implement new or modified approaches that will resolve problems and enhance opportunities
Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead multiple collaborators and internal customers
Experience developing content or working with creative teams
Effective technical writing skills
Highly organized with attention to detail, time management skills and multitasking abilities
Working knowledge of basic auditing standards and practices.
