What you’ll be doing...
The Verizon Location Technology organization provides customers with location solutions that solve current challenges and equips them to address challenges of the future. We build core and next-generation location technology for Verizon and the world. Verizon Location Technology helps bridge the physical and digital worlds using the power of location intelligence. We are an agile and curious team, and we take pride in our work and value the customer experience above all else.
As our Sr Sales Executive, you will be responsible for creating, managing and closing sales opportunities for VLT/Senion products. You will work on both domestic and international opportunities.
Conducting outbound engagements from leads/prospects.
Following up on inbound leads and qualifying them through both email and phone.
Being creative and implementing activities to contact new customers and generate new business.
Consulting with potential customers to uncover how Senion can solve their business problems and working with customers to define opportunities.
Working with customers to understand and define their internal initiatives.
Supporting your customer contact to navigate through their buying process.
Leading the company’s effort to close the deal and involve other persons (experts and leadership) as required.
Creating and maintaining an account plan.
Maintaining close contact with prospects.
Negotiating, completing and closing deals.
Accurately forecasting and tracking deals using a CRM system.
Acquiring good knowledge of our full range of Senion products and services.
Understanding how our products can serve the needs of the potential customer.
Seeking technical support initially but eventually gaining the ability to work independently.
Conveying product knowledge to potential clients, adhering to company messaging and positioning.
Continuously staying up to date on technologies relevant to the company’s offerings.
Supporting activities to track and analyze your own and the company’s effectiveness in creating new business.
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that will include work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for...
You are a driven self-starter with a high level of personal integrity who can collaborate across teams. This position represents a key element of the organization which will deploy, evolve, and support cutting-edge technology now and over the coming years. You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Background in technical B2B direct sales.
A Degree in business, marketing or related field.
Personal drive, energy and enthusiasm to achieve and surpass goals.
Self-starter with the potential to lead.
Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
Previous experience with CRM systems.
