Wilmington Friends School, a preschool to 12th grade Quaker, college preparatory, day school located in Wilmington, Delaware seeks a full-time fourth grade teacher for the fall of 2022. A highly qualified candidate is one who:

• Understands the developmental needs of, and has a love for, working with children in the upper elementary grades
• Is particularly familiar with teaching math, using the Singapore math curriculum
• Will bring imagination, a positive attitude, and energy to work with children of ranging experiences and abilities 
• Is committed to planning and teaching interdisciplinary units in cooperation with the lead teacher in our other section of fourth grade
• Seeks to serve on a faculty that is very committed and involved in all areas of school life

A qualified candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably in education, and classroom experience, preferably at a fourth-grade level.We will interview, and invite to campus for a demonstration teaching lesson, those candidates whose interests and experiences best fit our needs.
