Join our team! As the Director-Transmission Services your work will be guided by our core principles. We are looking for a strong leader, who has experience with regulations and compliance, along with pipeline electronic bulletin boards. In this role you will plan and direct activities to support wholesale services through electronic bulletin board (EBB) technology and administrative and analytical support for the BHE GT&S transmission pipeline systems (Eastern Gas Transmission and Storage, Carolina Gas Transmission and Cove Point LNG). Some of your responsibilities will include:
- ensuring transportation, storage and title tracking services are provided to customers in accordance with contractual, tariff and regulatory obligations.
- directing the transportation/storage nominations process and allocates capacity.
- ensuring compliance with contractual, tariff and regulatory obligations.
- ensuring coordination of activities with Marketing, Gas Control and System Planning.
- monitoring and confirming gas receipts and deliveries, confirming storage inventories and identifying transportation imbalances.
- implementing short-term adjustments to correct imbalances.
- directing the resolution of disputes with upstream/downstream entities.
- establishing and implementing EBB strategy, prioritizes changes and enhancements, and prepares capital budget requests.
- overseeing the development of EBB changes/enhancements to support the offering of new services and to improve customer satisfaction.
- ensuring compliance with reporting, posting and activities required by FERC regulations.
- ensuring prompt response to customer needs/service requests for routine agreements, EBB questions and capacity release activities.
- advocating for company and pipeline positions at North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) and monitors NAESB activities for impacts.
- ensuring actions are taken to protect company interests and ensures compliance with NAESB rules adopted by FERC.
- designing, recommending, and implementing emergency preparation and response procedures.
- monitoring storage reporting for compliance.
- overseeing title tracking services, promoting use of Eastern Gas South and Eastern Gas North points as market centers.
- performing other duties as requested or assigned.
This role will be filled in our Richmond, VA location. This position is authorized for relocation. Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and compressed schedule may be available, and are not guaranteed. This position is available due to an internal promotion - first review of applications will be June 30.

We are seeking applicants with the following knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences:
- Ten years related experience.
- Knowledge and experience with NAESB.
- Knowledge of company's EBB technology and functions.
- Knowledge of the BHE GT&S transmission pipeline system, facility operations and tariff provisions.
- Knowledge of service agreements and FERC regulations and requirements.
- Experience with computer project development and management from user side.
- Proven collaborative and consensus building skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, speak persuasively, advocate positions and negotiate solutions.
- Ability to lead and direct staff and cross-functional/cross-company teams.

Education Requirements
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor: Business, Marketing
Licenses, Certifications Description
Six Sigma experience/certification preferred.
