General Purpose: The Director of Offshore Legal provides legal support for offshore wind energy projects in the United States. The position is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating wind power plant sales, maintenance, and other related agreements; assisting with issues and agreements during construction and service; coordinating external counsel; supervising legal professionals; interacting with global legal and business colleagues on multi-jurisdictional transactions and initiatives; and advising clients on complex transactions and interesting legal issues. The position will develop and direct Vestas’ offshore legal organization, resources, strategies, agenda, and goals and deliver on the business and functional priorities.
