About Trinity-Pawling School
Trinity-Pawling School is an independent college prep school located on 230 acres overlooking the beautiful Hudson River Valley, just 60 miles north of New York City. Founded in 1907, the School offers boarding and day programs serving 300 boys in grades 7-12 and offers a postgraduate program.
The goal of a Trinity-Pawling education is to unlock the potential for greatness that exists in each boy. The School pursues this goal through a vigorous learning environment that emphasizes innovation, creativity, and critical thinking. Our commitment to project-based and experiential learning acknowledges the research that has identified learning paradigms that prove to be successful for boys, therefore students are taught in an active, engaging environment, in and out of the classroom. The Trinity-Pawling learning experience combines a timeless commitment to character with a dedication to prepare young men for an ever-changing world.
With 90% of faculty living on campus, students learn and grow in a close-knit community. Students are guided by teachers who are also their coaches and dorm parents, establishing strong faculty-student collaboration and providing for 24/7 learning. A ca...maraderie of “brotherhood” is enhanced by the mutuality of a family of educators and students who are dedicated to building a culture of excellence and a commitment to honor.
Each new academic year brings new commitments—to curiosity, community, communication, and character. These focus points are what gives Trinity-Pawling its distinctive culture. They allow our employees to be life-long learners, to develop individual self-awareness, and creativity in a community that is supportive and caring. This ethos allows our entire community to communicate openly and build meaningful relationships, and enables us to recognize and celebrate the gifts and talents in our students — and in each other.
