Allied Wheel Components / Raceline Wheels – Sales Representative Outside – Michigan, Indiana, Illinois
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a high energy, personable, Inside/Outside Sales Representatives for our Fife, WA distribution warehouse. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate positively with customers and sales team. We seek a self-driven, disciplined, reliable, hard-working, excellent communicator with experience in the automotive aftermarket wheel and wheel accessory industry.
Looking for experienced only wholesale/retail wheel and tire representatives to cover the the Michigan, Indiana, Illinois territory.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Outside sales - Remote
- Collect and report market share information for respective markets served from all available sources
- Cold calling on new accounts
- Communicate with new and existing customers by phone or in store visits
- Proficient with vehicle fitment/applications
- Conduct competitive market share analysis with correlating impact to business units and go-to-market initiatives
- Analyzes market data and customer information to identify patterns, trends and translates those into actionable insights.
- Presents perspectives on the evolving market to various internal departments
- Track key fundamentals in downstream supplier markets and upstream automotive / power sport / etc. markets to understand both direct and indirect impact on business strategy
- Plays an active role in supporting the company’s strategic planning processes
- Supports executive leadership on research and market intelligence gathering related to our field
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2+ years equivalent work experience – Retail Wheel & Tire, Wholesale Automotive required
- High School graduate.
- Strong problem-solving skills; demonstrates intellectual curiosity
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Clean driving record required
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability in both attitudinal and behavioral components of consumer behavior
- Ability to communicate – visually, written and oral. Strong, energetic presentation skills
- Strong experience in questionnaire development – thinking creatively, for valid and engaging respondent experiences
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across multiple cross functional areas
- Ability to manage time, projects, and conflict independently and with team
- Ability to establish and sustain strong business relationships and effectively prioritize business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50+lbs, load and unload wheels from vehicles, may be required to sit or stand for long periods, ability to travel to dealer sites
- Ability to train retail stores on how to buy/sell our brands
- Some weekend, or overnight travel for events required
