You’ll provide planning, leadership, and strategic vision related to Consolidated's financial functions in support of the cooperative's mission, vision, and business objectives. This senior management role responsibilities include oversight of the financial services department, budget preparation, and audit functions; achievement of Consolidated's financial objectives; strategic financial planning; ensuring financial compliance; preparation of financial statements, forecasts, rate, and price studies; developing financial performance measures; managing the preparation of financial, analytical, and interpretive reports including the annual budget; development, implementation and maintenance of cash management and loan strategies; establishing effective accounting controls, policies, and reporting; overseeing all billing and payroll functions; and managing relationships with key business partners including consultants, auditors, contractors, regulatory agencies, etc. You'll also foster internal and external relationships to promote the image and competitive position of the cooperative through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style and an attitude of humble service to the cooperative's members, trustees, and employees. Education and Experience:

• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Finance, required. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Five years of financial/accounting progressive managerial experience including experience with FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) accounting and RUS (Rural Utility Services) processes. 
• NRECA CFPC (Cooperative Financial Professional Certificate) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Capable of making full use of available tools and technologies.
• Ability to think ahead and innovate in terms of direction for marketing and sales is required.
• Capable of making full use of available tools, equipment, and technologies.
• Effective communication, organization, planning, and leadership skills.
• Accuracy, self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality are required.
• Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Leadership & Navigation / Plan Execution / Relationship Management / Corporate Finance / Financial Responsibility / Compliance & Risk / Strategic Management / Supervision & Management).
