Join our team as either an Associate Market Development Rep, Market Development Rep or Senior Market Development Rep considering your experiences. In this role you will identify and research potential business development and market expansions and new service opportunities. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Negotiate terms of service with principal parties.
Maintain awareness of market and customer activities and needs.
Conducts and analyzes market surveys. Analyze competitors’ strategic intent, capabilities, competencies and business or financial drivers in order to provide conclusions and implications as a key input into the overall EGTS strategy development process.
Research, compile, filter, manipulate and distribute relevant energy industry information using industry-related publications, databases, outside consultants, and other resources.
Explain tariff and service agreement provisions to prospective customers.
Supports market and service projects (e.g., conducts presentations, customizes service portfolios, etc.).
Performs statistical analyses (e.g., trends in demand; sales, service and throughput comparisons, etc.).
Act as an expert for staff with less experience in competitive analysis and coordination of market information.
May lead certain project sub-teams with responsibility and accountability by coordinating internal and external resources, as needed, to manage and deliver results.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
This position could report to our Richmond, VA, Leesburg, VA, Columbia, SC, Bridgeport, WV, Canonsburg, PA, Delmont, PA locations. Flexible work arrangements, including remote, hybrid or compressed schedule may be available, but are not guaranteed.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
Associate Market Development Rep: 0-2years’ experience with basic understanding of market drivers.
Market Development Rep: Minimum 3 years’ experience with a basic understanding of market drivers.
Sr. Market Development Rep: Minimum 5 years’ experience with at least three years of energy industry experience with a general understanding of market drivers. -General/Technical understanding of EGTS and competitor natural gas service offerings -Knowledge of pipeline operations and tariffs -Knowledge of business information research, analytical methods, and statistics -Highly proficient with personal computer applications, especially databases and spreadsheets -Demonstrated leadership, teaming, initiative, customer service, technical knowledge, judgment and innovation -Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team -Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities, resources, and time -Ability to manage large quantities of data (define problems, collect data and draw conclusions) -Ability to speak persuasively and develop rapport -Ability to write and develop presentations - Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making in planning, organizing and conducting assignments -Effective investigative and analytical thinking skills -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
