This position is responsible for ensuring reliable fuel supply deliveries, economic dispatching of power generation as well as performing ad hoc analyses to improve the overall efficiencies of the Association. Functions interdepartmentally to facilitate accurate reporting of fuel and power generation data. Maintains a positive and professional relationship with external and internal stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates are required to have:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance, management, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Three (3) years’ relevant experience in energy planning, trading, marketing, operations, or related field.
A valid driver’s license and a driving record, which is acceptable by the Association’s Driving Policy and insurable by the Association and the Association’s insurance carrier at standard group rates.
Preference may be given to:
Candidates with PCI GenTrader software suite experience.
Candidates with a relevant professional certification, relevant degree, progressive operations, supply chain management, and/or fuel supply experience.
Candidates with utility generation and transmission system operations, power purchases/ sales, operating policies, and contractual requirements experience.
