The newly launched Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in the Collins College of Business at The University of Tulsa (TU) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management. The expected start date is August 2023. The Department includes two tenured full professors, one tenure track professor, and two applied professors. The department is also recruiting a tenured endowed chair professor for entrepreneurship.

Assistant/Associate Professors have an annual service period of nine months. Salary and rank will be competitive with AACSB-accredited institutions and commensurate with experience. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to contribute to the mission of the Collins College of Business in research, teaching, and service. The successful candidate will perform research in macro subject areas, including organizational behavior, leadership, human resources, and ethics, and publish in high-quality journals. Teaching responsibilities include organizational behavior, ethics, and human resource management. The professor is expected to be an active member of the Collins College and University Community. The department offers a BSBA – Management degree, and an undergraduate innovation, change, and entrepreneurship minor open to all majors on campus. Graduate courses are offered for students within the college and across the TU campus.
A Ph.D. in Management or an appropriate business field from an AACSB-accredited institution is required.
ABD applicants will be considered; however, all requirements for the doctoral degree must be completed by August 15, 2023, to remain eligible for continued employment.
An established scholarship record in Organizational Behavior and/or Human Resource Management or Business Ethics.
Private or public sector managerial work experience.
An interest in teaching innovation-related management content.
A demonstrated record of effective teaching at the college or university level.
