Information Technology Services GIS Coordinator

You would be joining a team whose purpose is to grow the impacts of Business Intelligence for an electrical cooperative spanning 16,000 square miles with specific focus on the coordination, planning and delivery of our spatial technologies/GIS environment.

Our ideal candidate would have at least 4 years of professional experience coordinating enterprise GIS environments (or equivalent combination with GIS/ESRI specific education).

Skills and abilities that are required to perform this position successfully:

• Expertise in Spatial Data Technologies including ESRI ArcGIS
• Experience planning, architecting, and delivering enterprise GIS/Spatial Data Systems.
• Experience installing, maintaining and supporting enterprise GIS servers, software and databases.
• Experience automating GIS environments through scheduling and coding.
  
  

Skills and abilities in these areas are highly preferred to make an impact quickly:

• NISC Mapwise experience (Primary mapping solution)
• NISC Software Suite including, AppSuite, Operational Analytics, Customer Care and Billing, Outage Management System, Meter Data Management Systems experience.
• Drones/UAS experience.
• Electrical Power Transmission/Distribution environments experience.
• Microsoft SQL Server experience

Equivalent to two years of trade school or college course work
appropriate for GIS/ESRI and two (2) years of GIS/ESRI professional
work experience or a minimum of four (4) years of GIS/GPS/ESRI
professional work experience at a comparable level.
