Serve as Senior Staff Analyst in the Distribution Planning Section performing research and studies to consider the ability for the electric distribution system to meet current and future needs of Michigan residents and businesses, such as reinforcing the expected level of distributed energy resource adoption.  Function as staff contributor or witness in inspections of utility filings in distribution plans, rate cases, an integrated resource plans.   Function as a case coordinator in distribution planning cases that consider the electric distribution systems supporting Michigan residents and businesses in meeting current and future needs.   Also, the employee will keep abreast of new technologies that can improve electric distribution performance such as smart grid and demand response, a
