Position: Senior Manager, Security

Location: El Paso, TX (also open to Reynosa, Mexico or Monterrey, Mexico)

Scope of leadership role

Based in El Paso, Texas (open to Monterrey or Reynosa also) and reporting to the VP EHS, the Senior Security Manager will be responsible for the physical security of our global workforce.  As the Senior Security Manager, you will drive the implementation of security polices, and procedures, and work to improve the capabilities of new and existing operations.  You will ensure a secure environment across Regal Rexnord’s business by directing the deployment of site security resources and security systems, leading security governance, auditing, and managing incident investigations, to protect the company’s assets from external and internal security threats and those risks relating to personal security, fraud and internal theft, and any non-compliance of CTPAT and other regulatory requirements in support of supply chain security.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish a global security program including policies, procedures, objectives and governance with a significant emphasis on operations within Mexico.
• Identify, evaluate and manage enterprise-wide corporate security risk exposures. Determine appropriate level of corporate risk retention in conjunction with site leaders and other senior management and develop programs to administer across global regions.
• Innovate across all aspects of security management to enhance tactical and strategic threat intelligence and response to optimize operational efficiency.
• Understand company risk exposures by keeping abreast of operational or policy changes that can impact security risk management goals.
• Design, develop and communicate various security risk management alternatives and provide customized solutions and responses as business conditions change.
• Serve as the primary contact and leverage relationships with site leaders, HR/EHS directors/managers, procurement managers and external transportation and security service providers.
• Provide day-to-day contact and assistance to business unit leaders and personnel with specific security problems, issues, liabilities and questions.
• Maintain strong communication and excellent working relationships with individual business units.
• Facilitate/Lead cross-functional and cross-Segment dialogue about enterprise security risk and develop mitigation plans.
• Establish protocols for on-site security companies and asses their performance.
• Provide training to Regal Rexnord site leaders and security service providers.
• Ensure established security procedures are implemented at operational sites.
• Manage corporate security staff and service providers, working with local operations and functional teams on coverage and application of policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with key government and law enforcement agencies.
• Establish global guidelines on travel security risks.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree and/or  15+ years’ work experience and certification  in the area of global security operations
• Corporate executive protection to include having worked in non-U.S. areas with emphasis on event security, transportation security , and management of external security cadres (security officers, supervisors) 
• Military and or U.S. federal government experience
• Solid knowledge of global security threat assessments and the required and respective security protocols needed to mitigate threats
• Ability to professionally collaborate with all levels of management.
• Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and skill working in a team environment and coordinating workloads.
• Ability to multi-task and consistently meet aggressive and time-sensitive deadlines.
• Proactive, highly organized and detail oriented.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Travel: Ability to Travel 75% (The majority of travel will be in Mexico and the Southwest portion of the U.S.)
• Language: English/Spanish
• Knowledge of CTPAT requirements
