We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager - Marketing Technology.
Principal Responsibilities

This role is part of WPB Global Marketing, which focuses on understanding present and future customer needs, identification of market opportunities, development and execution of marketing strategies, and programmes. The ultimate goal is to drive improvements in HSBC brand equity and contribute to customer growth, revenue growth, increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed objectives and key results.
The primary accountability of this role is to develop technology, data and partnership programmes within the Digital Marketing function that deliver customer and business outcomes. This includes supporting proposition development and go-to-market strategies
Geographical Remit is Global
The role holder is accountable to the Global Head of Marketing Technology, WPB
The role holder is responsible to Wealth and Personal Banking in achieving their vision and objectives through Digital Marketing activity
The role holder will deliver this through the identification, negotiation, implementation and management of technology and data solutions and partnerships, grounded in data insights and elevated through creativity and innovation
The role holder must support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making

Modern Digital Marketing professional with understanding of latest developments in the marketing and media world and a penchant for learning
Specific experience in the successful sourcing and roll out of technology solutions for Digital Marketing
Strong track record in the area of identifying, negotiating, executing and managing partnerships in the digital marketing space
Understand the use of data and analytics in deriving customer value and how to incorporate them into technology and partnership solutions
Be passionate about the customer and be obsessed with customer outcomes
Degree level qualification
Financial services industry experience and strong understanding of digital business, while experience with travel, lifestyle, and/or other consumer product development is a strong advantage. Ideally, past work experience with digital companies (e.g. Expedia, Google, Apple, Fintech style companies etc.)
Asia Pacific market experience preferable if it includes multiple Asian markets and ideally experience in a global or regional roles
Familiar with the operation of martech for Digital Marketing and able to translate business and customer needs into tech requirements
Highly collaborative and familiar with Agile working methodologies
Demonstrating ability to identify strategic needs based solutions both now and in the future
Evidence of team leadership attributes. Experience and evidence of working within teams over multiple sites in a highly matrixed organization
Proven understanding of customer insights and their role in marketing strategy development and delivery as well as marketing communications development
Able to influence at senior level to drive improvement. Proven ability to influence leadership teams
Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
Ability to bring key stakeholders and Functional colleagues with them as marketing strategies and plans are developed
Ability to distil complex business and customer environment into simple, strategically sound and insight led stories
