Job Overview:
The IT Data and Security Support Analyst is responsible for device and network security, data integrity and keeping the school at the forefront of innovation and privacy protection. The position plays a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience for students, teachers, and staff and requires someone with a passion for technology, a detail-oriented approach, and high level of accuracy to help drive our technology initiatives forward! In our cutting-edge school, you will also work with conference technologies, 3-D printers and design software, laser cutters and our theater lighting and audio systems.
General Responsibilities:
Manage InTune and Microsoft Defender Endpoint
Manage integration of services with Student Information System
Manage network infrastructure including firewall, switches and communication systems
Protect systems and information through security policies, assessments and staff training
Ensure data integrity throughout all IT systems
Use data analytics to provide insights in both student learning and business processes
Gather feedback from end-users to continue improving systems
Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice, and test and evaluate new technology
Required Education & Experience:
Experience managing Microsoft Defender Endpoint and InTune required
Bachelors degree required
2+ years experience of recent IT administration or similar work
Network certifications preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
Demonstrated technical writing skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to maintain confidential information
Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft O365, InTune and Microsoft Defender Endpoint
Ability to work and communicate well with others
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds, and use a ladder to reach and maintain equipment.
Able to work 40 hours per week on our campus
