This position is expected to perform a wide variety of billing duties, The position performs business analysis on utility billing activities such as researching billing history, auditing invoices, validating daily billing registers, researching member accounts to determine data errors, and proposing corrections. They analyze departmental processes and procedures and look for opportunities to improve efficiency. This position operates as a departmental subject matter expert. This position significantly contributes to the revenue cycle through skilled analysis and attention to detail. This position is valued for ensuring that new member implementations are successful, standard procedures are followed.

Experience
Minimum
Three (3) years’ work experience in accounting, billing operations or general office work and customer service.
Preferred
Experience or similar work with an electric utility or related industry.

Other Requirements
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines, telephone, and fax machine.
Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
Normal work hours shall be eight (8) hours between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
