Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Test Engineer to join Zions Bancorporation. The Test Engineer plays a key role in automating functional test cases. Primary job focus will be to automate prioritized functional test cases that can be used to evaluate changes in lower environments before consuming changes in production.
The Test Engineer will share responsibility for all aspects of creating automated test cases. You will also be responsible for designing and testing jobs, working with internal and external teams to create automated solutions to repetitive testing.

Responsibilities:
Agile team member
Responsible for executing test plans, controls and testing applications for the organization using industry accepted testing methodologies and procedures.
Responsible for the test planning, design and development of appropriate test cases for all areas of responsibility.
Run test cases to certify builds, new features, etc. and evaluates usability and functionality.
Completes comprehensive test conditions and test cases for system enhancements and new business products and processes.
Validates test results, documents discrepancies and follows through with resolutions to ensure all issues are resolved.
Reports progress of problem resolution to management. Identifies differences between organization standards and user applications.
Suggests modifications to conform to standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 4+ years QA testing, system software/hardware applications or systems experience or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of software and control testing methodologies, testing tools, appropriate platforms, related systems and technologies.
Must have excellent analytical, customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
Excellent leadership and problem resolution skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Requires effective time management and work ethics.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Object-oriented programming with Java (or similar language such as C#)
Experience with Selenium
Familiarity with Cucumber
Likes (and is good at) manual testing

This opportunity will be located in our brand-new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
(We have a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home if you are within the Salt Lake City area)
