PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, an electric generation and transmission cooperative serving Alabama and Northwest Florida, is seeking an Administrative Clerk in the Finance & Accounting Department at the Headquarters Office located in Andalusia, Alabama.  The purpose of this position is to provide routine administrative support for one or more (usually several) persons below middle management level positions.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of clerical experience. In addition, applicants must have basic knowledge of applicable software applications, basic mathematical skills, and organizational skills and attention to detail in order to maintain an orderly workspace and quality work. Additionally, applicant must demonstrate a potential for success in the Administrative Clerk position by qualifying on an aptitude-based clerical placement exercise, and a behaviorally-based structured interview.
