Science & Arts Academy (SAA), a K-8 independent school serving 250 students in a northwest suburb of Chicago, IL, seeks a new Head of School for July 1, 2024. In late fall of 2022, SAA’s highly regarded and long-standing Head of School, announced his plans to leave at the conclusion of the 2022-23 academic year. Edward Hollinger, an experienced transitional leader, has been appointed interim head of school for 2023-24. The next permanent Head of School at SAA will continue the journey of a school where learning is both joyous and purposeful. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate that they possess the expertise, empathy, and energy to ensure that SAA remains a special place for many years to come.
