We are looking for a full-time Licensed Architect to join our Martinsburg, WV Office. We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about the field of architecture and is seeking an opportunity to grow a team of professionals. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Works with project design team on projects throughout all phases of design.
Preparation or original architectural design layouts, details, drawings, and specifications.
Review architectural document for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
Coordinate and integrate design work between the architectural discipline and other engineering disciplines.
Utilize critical thinking to evaluate, select and apply design skills and techniques to project related assignments.
Job Requirements: To be successful in this position, you will bring:
NCARB Registered Architect
A minimum of five (5) years’ of related experience.
Experience with Revit Software a plus.
Familiarity with local codes and authorities having jurisdiction.
Possess the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Proficient with managing client/owner/contractor relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Leadership and time management skills to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage project priorities
Possesses the ability to mentor junior staff.
Periodic travel will be required.
