This Energy Services Program Consultant position will collaborate with our customers to analyze their energy services program workflows and consult to build a best practice integrated solution. An energy services program allows our members utilities to enroll consumers, track, analyze and report on utility, energy efficiency, distributed energy resource (DER) and smart device (internet of things) related programs within their organization. The ideal candidate will be able to scope, prioritize and document energy services business processes comfortably. The position works closely with the NISC Enterprise software, which leverages Salesforce and Form Assembly, to serve our Members/Customers’ needs for implementing their energy services programs solutions. Managing the process of implementing our solution requires an understanding of the member’s needs, collaborative communication style with excellent communications. Team member will work with all levels (C-level to individual contributor) at NISC and our Member/Customer sites. Role includes helping the Member/Customer understand the value of the NISC’s enterprise solutions as well as training, testing, and reporting. This position reports to a Professional Services Team Lead.
Essential Duties:
Create and coordinate moderate level project plans, timelines, and milestones of project implementation.
Perform process analysis through scoping, prioritizing and mapping documenting business processes.
Train Members/customers, on software applications usage and best practices.
Provide application support throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in change management best practices at Member/Customer sites.
Prepare Change Requests (CRs) and follow up through resolution.
Perform after hours call support as assigned.
May serve as a subject matter expert.
Perform work duties outside of regular business hours, on an as needed basis, to meet internal and/or customer needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:
3+ years of related experience preferred.

Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
