Tilton School seeks a full time, 12 month Admissions Associate who actively supports the enrollment process through recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating new students with a focused effort on supporting/meeting enrollment goals. The Admissions Associate welcomes and greets visitors in person or on the phone; directs visitors to appropriate departments or sites; attracts potential students by answering inquiries regarding academic program and resources; provides advice to students and their families regarding admission records and or registration process and eligibility. Special requirements: -Ability to serve as an articulate spokesperson for the mission and values of Tilton School; - Exceptional interpersonal skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills; -High energy, attention to detail, and ability to organize effectively; - Ability to multitask, be flexible, and work in a consumer relationship building mindset; - Collaborate with the Admissions team to plan, implement, and provide support for additional special enrollment and retention -focused events; - Travel representing Tilton School at various outreach and recruitment opportunities both domestically and internationally; - Prior recruitment experience in a boarding school or college/ university environment or sales experience preferred; - Primary commitment is to the recruitment of mission-appropriate students; - Enter all notes, contacts, and communications regarding recruitment travel details and prospective families onto the database in a timely manner; - Cultivate and manage relationships with domestic and international educational consultants, placement directors, and local feeder schools.
Other duties for this position include: participation as an athletic coach or activities leader for one season each year, active participation in our residential program including weeknight-weekend supervision if living on campus.
