What You'll Do:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Modeler to join our Data Management team and play a critical role in shaping our data infrastructure and strategy. As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data architecture to ensure the efficient and effective management of data across the organization. Your expertise will help us unlock the full potential of our data assets and enable data-driven decision-making.
A successful Data Modeler will:
Engage in partnership with Product, Engineering and Architecture teams to understand, scope and deliver accurate, timely and relevant data models.
Support multiple teams implementing data integrations in an agile environment.
Develop deep expertise in relevant automotive industry data.
Assesses the current and future data architecture needs and adapt accordingly.
Improve and ensures the overall quality of our information assets.
Who You Are:
At least 5 years of professional experience with design and implementation of large-scale data architectures.
Experienced in gathering data architecture requirements, gap analysis and design requirements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to successfully deploy solutions.
A continuous learner familiar with industry trends within the modern data stack and an ability to apply them to problems we face.
Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of data modeling for conceptual, logical and physical modeling using relational and dimensional techniques to support application, analytic and data science use cases.
Strong working knowledge of database technologies and data model best practices in GCP.
BigQuery and Postgress/CloudSQL design experience preferred.
Working knowledge of the GCP architecture and suite of tools.
Experience related to Automotive industry preferred.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $77,400 to $160,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
