Bloomberg Television is looking for a highly motivated Senior Producer to join their London-based team.
You will be responsible for leading a team of Producers to output one of our live morning programs. You must have demonstrated skills in TV news production including planning, writing, copy-editing, creating graphics/videos, and handling the pressure of breaking news. You must be able to embrace challenges, make split-second decisions, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be an effective communicator across a global newsroom.
We'll trust you to:
Manage a team of producers
Communicate effectively to give guidance and direction to anchors, reporters and producers
Work with the news desk and Executive Producer to ensure your program reflects Bloomberg's editorial priorities
Constantly look for ways to improve and evolve the program to meet our strategic goals
Confidently output live shows from the control room
Respond to breaking news with a sense of urgency
You'll need to have:
5+ years of experience outputting live television news programs
Exceptional news judgement
A good understanding of financial markets
Recent experience in business and finance news
Flexibility with hours including early starts
