This position is highly analytical, involving data analyses, modeling and reporting functions including but not limited to 1) Validating imbalance market settlement data and making recommendations to improve market interactions; 2) Aggregating multiple data sources to calculate a profit and loss of bilateral trades and imbalance market participation; 3) Spreadsheet creation and analyses; 4) Following market issues and representing AEPCO and its Members in regional working groups; 5) Understanding AEPCO’s Member energy allocation program to determine how best to incorporate imbalance energy and market trades; 6) Reviewing congestion hedging settlements and making recommendations to improve performance, and; 7) Other analyses and skills as may be necessary for departmental success.
