The Director, Enterprise Account Contract Analytics & Development, is a unique and highly visible leadership role within GSK US Market Access inclusive of a strong partnership with US Commercial Finance. Reporting to the head of US Market Access Contract Authoring & Analytics, the position is responsible for leading a best-in-class Contract Analytics and Development team that utilizes advanced analytics to evaluate gross-to-net financials, develops contracting proposals and authors contracts for the largest commercial and Part D Payers.
This role provides a dynamic leadership opportunity where communication, negotiation and matrix management skills are paramount to success. While a key member of the Market Access Operations & Analytics department, the position requires close collaboration with the customer-facing Strategic Account teams in addition to the Market Access Pricing & Contract Strategy teams to achieve optimal access for GSK products and manage return on rebate or discount investments. The aligned team is responsible for the development of Business Case Documents (BCD) in support of contracting proposals in addition to the development of the sales and gross-to-net forecasts for their contracts in conjunction with the Corporate financial planning cycle. This forecast information is also used to provide contract rebate estimates for government pricing calculations.
Location: Philadelphia or Durham, NC. This role is not eligible for relocation support.

Lead the Contract Forecasting and Development team to optimize contracting proposals that synthesize access strategies, government pricing policies, brand initiatives, distribution models, contract language and financial requirements into business cases that also balance independence and compliance.
Collaborate across Market Access and Finance on the delivery of Gross-to-Net financial forecasts on a bi-annual cycle inclusive of GTN system inputs and processes.
Provide insight to support continuous improvement of processes and analytical tools.
Liaise with Operations & Analytics, Finance, Brand and Market Access Strategy teams to provide insights on strategic issues.
Liaise with other Contract Operations groups to ensure operational considerations of contracting proposals are fully vetted and documented.
Apply expert knowledge of existing process, third party data sources, revenue and analytics system functionality and capabilities to identify system and process enhancements.
Lead key projects and initiatives.
Provide input into brand access initiatives and pull through learnings in branded access strategy via the Operations & Analytics teams.
Develop, recruit, and retain the best people and be accountable for development plans and employee engagement.
Normal and customary supervisory responsibilities including budget management, performance evaluation, coaching, discipline etc.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in the following areas: financial analysis/business partnering, forecasting, contract authoring and payer market access
Experience with US Market Access business dynamics and customers (Payers, Purchasers, Providers, & Retail) and US Market Access data analytics
Experience in Payer contracting language that supports growth and balances risk
Experience using advanced modeling and forecasting tools
Experience with PowerBI
Preferred Qualifications:

MBA
2+ years of Gross-to-Net Experience in Finance and/or Market Access
3+ years of People Management Experience
US-based experience with market access payer strategies, account management interface, government pricing, contracting, reimbursement and distribution concepts
Supervising, coaching, and evaluating teams in a leadership capacity
Problem solving, systems modernization and/or change management experience
Financial acumen and P&L mindset
Audit, Compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley experience
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and complexity
Ability to employ highly effective decision-making strategies in resolving issues and conflicting options/priorities

Invests in relationships in their team and across other teams
