Summary:
Provide high quality administrative support, customer service and functional support for the transmission permitting & land rights department plus other staff and leadership in portfolio delivery, to ensure effective and efficient processes are maintained and coordinated.
Organize, file, and manage transmission permitting & land rights department hard copy and electronic records to ensure they are kept up to date and systematically logged for transmission line projects, relocations, agreements, and releases/encroachments, etc.

A typical starting range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 + hourly. Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs all administrative and support functions as required by department leadership and staff to ensure efficient operations within the department.
Processes and prepares check requests, expense reports, purchase requisitions, credit card statements, and technology requests as required.
Provides project support for transmission permitting and land rights and transmission division customers to ensure effective processes are followed.
Compiles, maintains and tracks land rights records.
Files and organizes land rights records including easements, encroachments, line re-builds, relocations, confinements, agreements, permits, releases, partial releases or any related land rights legal documents.
Coordinates with the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and Department of Commerce (DOC) staff for notifications of state sponsored meetings/hearings and makes arrangements for public meetings, including meeting notices, room reservations, handouts, refreshments and arranging for technical support.
Prepares, reviews and proofs for content and error all legal documents for various real estate transactions including, but not limited to, easements, warranty deeds, options to purchase, quit claim deeds, releases, partial releases of easements, right-of-way encroachment agreements, easement assignments, joint use agreements, state and county permit applications and legal descriptions for other real estate transaction documents.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge typically acquired through high school with two years post-secondary education preferred.
AND
· Minimum of 5 years administrative or office experience required.
· Experience with real estate, permitting, and legal documentation is strongly preferred.
· Skill in the use of the Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, Access and PowerPoint.
· Ability to learn and use SharePoint, Arc GIS, and other computer applications as required.
· Knowledge of standard office procedures and administrative functions.
· Skills to proficiently use professional business English, including proper grammar and punctuation, while consistently adhering to established GRE document formatting standards.
· Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships, effective work relationships and establish credibility with business partners.
· Ability to appropriately maintain confidential information.
· Skill to prioritize multiple projects by utilizing strong organizational and time management skills to complete work in an efficient manner.
· Skill to utilize good verbal and written communication.
