Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY
Assists in placing and expediting orders and obtains quotes/bids under occasional guidance. Resolves problems relating to the procurement of equipment, supplies and services. Creates purchase orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assists customers to clarify requirements and proposes sourcing options. Evaluates and recommends the best sourcing solution.
* Performs cost comparisons related to proposals. Compares prices, verifies specifications, delivery dates and other information to facilitate purchasing decisions.
* Processes purchase orders and issues purchase orders, expedites deliveries, and resolves receiving and invoicing problems.
* Prepares and processes purchase orders.
* Assists with resolving problems related to invoicing and receiving.
