Salary is commensurate with experience and degree earned and ranges from $16,000.00 to $23,000.00 annually. This position is not eligible for full-time benefits, but does include sick and safe leave benefits and a school dining benefit. Maryvale Preparatory School is seeking a part-time Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year with the potential for full time employment in the future. The position is a part-time, 10-month position. The ideal candidate will have Upper School teaching experience and a strong academic record focusing on an inquiry-based approach. This position will report directly to the Upper School Head.
Responsibilities include:
Teach two sections of Upper School Chemistry.
Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Biology, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred; MSDE certification preferred
Upper School experience preferred.
Experience working in an independent school setting preferred
