Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all plant accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage the plant accounting team, providing guidance and support to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the work order process and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and implement internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Lead special projects and initiatives to support the strategic goals of the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Masters preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, with multiple years of direct experience in plant accounting or a related role, preferably within the electric utility industry.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Completion of the Rural Utility Systems Borrower Accounting Course within one year of hire date.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
