Hunton seeks an attorney with at least five – six years (class of 2019 – class of 2018) of bank finance experience to join the Transactions and Development practice group of the Energy and Infrastructure team in a full-time, partnership-track associate position. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate, project and other structured finance, including work on behalf of development finance institutions, with an emphasis on energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, demonstrate initiative and potential for leadership, and have the judgment and confidence to work independently with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in Portuguese is not required but will be valued. This position can be filled in our Miami, New York, or Washington, DC offices. Candidates licensed in the jurisdiction to which they are applying is preferred and, in any event, required within one year of joining the firm.
