The Department of Diagnostic Radiology & Nuclear Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is seeking Abdominal, Cardiothoracic, and Musculoskeletal Imaging radiologists at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join our well-established department in Chicago, IL. Join a collegial group of 52 sub-specialized radiologists and 6 medical physicists serving Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Rush Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, and numerous outpatient facilities in the Chicagoland area.

Abdominal Imaging clinical duties include interpreting body MRI, CT, and ultrasound examinations and consulting with referring physicians. Cardiothoracic Radiology clinical duties include interpretation of adult chest radiographs, lung cancer screening CTs, and cardiothoracic CT and MRI examinations. Primary responsibilities for Musculoskeletal Radiology include interpretation of adult musculoskeletal radiographs, CT, and MRI. Candidates should be proficient in performing arthrograms. The section actively participates in bone and soft tissue tumor board, as well as rheumatology and multiple myeloma conferences. We are also active in orthopedic grand rounds and specialty sports medicine conferences. Our section works intimately with the leading orthopedic practice in the region, and we perform imaging services for multiple professional and college athletic programs including the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox.

The selected candidate will work closely with radiology residents, body imaging fellows, and medical students from Rush Medical College. In addition, the candidate will collaborate professionally and academically with professionals from surgery, oncology, hepatology, gastroenterology, urology, radiation oncology, and organ transplant services. There are also opportunities to participate in administration, research, hospital committees, and quality initiatives. Equipment includes 10 clinical MRI magnets, 3T research magnet, 12 CT scanners (including dual-energy CT systems), and a state-of-art photon-counting CT. Research experience or interest is encouraged but not required. We have excellent support from a dedicated physicist section and have strong long-term relationships with referring clinicians and hospital administration.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range: $478,305 - $691,052
