The Coalinga-Huron Unified School District is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic applicant to join its exceptional administrative team.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Under the direct supervision of Coalinga High School administration, the high school athletic director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school’s athletic programs, ensuring compliance with district, state, and national athletic regulations. Must have outstanding communication, organization and game management skills. It’s imperative that this individual foster a positive relationship with the community. This individual must have unparalleled energy and commitment to retain and continuously recruit coaches, supervise and assist the athletic coaches and is responsible for the coordination of all day-to-day operations of all related activities (scheduling and coordinating athletic programs and events on campus, responsible for the athletic budget; serve as liaison between the district, school, parents, students and outside agencies; supervises and evaluates the performance of coaches and individual sports programs; assumes responsibility for student athlete discipline; supervises students during extra-curricular activities; and performs related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 5 years of educational experience

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:

• Administrative Credential Required
• Valid California Driver’s License
