Controller / Head of Finance to join our executive leadership team as we scale the business.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Financial Reporting & Control
  • Monitor the financial performance of the company  
  • Compile and analyze financial reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annually) and present results/recommendations to executive leadership team
  • Balance and reconciliation of all accounts, financial recoveries and allocation
  • Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets & forecasts
  • Risk Management & Compliance
  • Actively identify, monitor, control, report, and advise on financial aspects of company risks and compliance requirements
  • Develop and manage financial policies and procedures 
• Leadership & Strategy
  • Contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate, and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers
  • Establish solid, effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Define, develop and manage finance team (i.e., accounting specialists)
  • Lead the incorporation of technology, including AI, into workflow processes

Required Skills:

• Accounting degree or relevant industry experience
• Solid construction industry experience
• Proven leadership experience building and growing teams
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office suite
• Self-motivated, self-directed, organized, bias for action, excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• CPA certification
• Experience with Sage 100 Contractor, Sage Paperless, Trimble/Viewpoint Vista
