The Dunham School is a Christian, independent, college preparatory day school for boys and girls PreK-12 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The School is seeking a seasoned, dynamic, and creative development professional for the position of Annual Giving Coordinator.
Primary Responsibilities
The Annual Giving Coordinator reports to the Director of Development, is a member of the Advancement Team, and is responsible for keeping an active and robust annual giving culture at The Dunham School, maintaining the fundraising goal of $700,000 - $1,000,000 annually. This full-time (12-month) position is responsible for cultivating relationships with constituents, identifying potential major gift donors, running the donor stewardship program and creating the structure for promoting annual giving at Dunham.
Specific Duties
Plan, coordinate, and manage a comprehensive annual giving program to raise funds from current constituents.
Recruit, direct, and maintain an active volunteer parent cabinet to assist in the solicitation of donations from other parents.
Develop and manage budgets for annual giving fundraising efforts.
Work with the Director of Development in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewarding of major annual gift prospects.
Work with Development Officer - Major Gifts on identifying key prospects and filling the major giving donor pipeline.
Work with the Director of Alumni and Corporate Fundraising to build an alumni fundraising plan and identify potential corporate partners from our current constituent groups.
Work with the Director of Marketing in overseeing the public relations, marketing, and communication for annual giving fundraising efforts.
Develop and execute a stewardship program for annual donors, milestone giving years, and annual endowment stewardship.
Assist the Director of Development and Head of School with other duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications and Characteristics
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully executing development planning and solicitation, with experience in annual fund solicitation preferred. The candidate will have experience or knowledge of independent schools and the energy, enthusiasm, and focus to achieve established fundraising and participation goals.
3+ years of non-profit fundraising experience or marketing experience, K-12 independent school experience preferred
