Under the direction of the Chief Business Official or designee, plan, organize, direct, administer, review and evaluate District-wide facilities, maintenance, operations and services encompassing facilities planning, construction and maintenance, hazardous materials management, energy management, property management, architectural services, custodial and grounds maintenance, and general operational services. Exercise independent authority within the scope of responsibilities. Supervisory scope of the assignment includes appropriate staff working in facilities, maintenance, and operations. Acts as liaison with other District department directors and various city, county, state and federal agencies in relation to the Facilities, Maintenance and operations activities at the District.
