Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, New Jersey, an independent, Catholic all-girls PS-12 Sacred Heart School with a mission to educate the whole child and inspire young women to lead lives of exceptional leadership and service, is searching for an Administrative Assistant beginning in the 2024-25 academic year.
The Administrative Assistant supports the excellence and efficiency of the Head of Upper School and Upper School Office. Professionalism, exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality are essential. The Administrative Assistant represents the School and all members of the faculty and staff positively and in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Stuart Country Day School. The successful candidate brings initiative, integrity, professionalism, to multifaceted and evolving administrative responsibilities.
Administrative Support:
? Support the Head of the US in making the vision of the Head come to life.
? Maintain the Head of US’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and speaking engagements. Exercise discretion in committing time.
? Support other members of the US Leadership Team, which includes the Dean of Student Life and Director of College Counseling, as needed.
? Assist and support the Head of US in preparation and monitoring the Division budget
? Attend all division meetings and maintain division meeting notes
? Maintain the daily attendance record
? Process and submit corporate credit card statements, with all receipts, for the Head of US
? Support faculty in coordinating events, field trips, and transportation for the Upper School
? Serve as a liaison between all school events and Upper School, attending weekly events meetings
? Ensure the US office, faculty workspaces, and classrooms have required supplies and resources
? Manage US participation in school-wide fire drills with accurate attendance records and resolving attendance questions
Other duties include, but are not limited to: acting as a liaison to the staff, supporting marketing efforts, attending school events, preparing materials for events, scheduling meetings, and other requests from the school staff.
