Through the process of forensic examination, data collection and analysis we provide insights to our clients to assist them in making informed decisions in sensitive and high-profile investigations and legal proceedings. To qualify for this challenging role directing technical teams, demonstrable expertise in the two or more of the following areas is essential:
Strong data manipulation and analysis skills (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Hive)
Experience with industry standard RDMS (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
Data loading and ETL solutions (Microsoft SSIS or Alteryx preferred)
Reporting and data visualisation tools (Microsoft SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, D3)
Scripting or programming experience (Python, R, C#, VB.net, Java)
Experience of text analytics through use of taxonomies, concept searching, machine learning or clustering
In addition to your superior technical abilities, you will evidence the following abilities and experiences:
Work rights in Australia (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen).
Demonstrated domain experience (5+ years) in fraud investigations, financial crime, or within another forensic practice in a professional services firm.
Strong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking with the ability to dive deep into analytics while also contributing to larger strategic discussions
An ability to present complex quantitative analyses and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior client executives, in a clear, concise and actionable manner
What will your typical day look like?
You will participate in the delivery of a wide range of forensic services to clients across a variety of industries and sectors.
In this role, you will be exposed to:
A large and diverse range of clients across a variety of industries
Engagements which deliver the full range of forensic services including investigations, disputes, financial crime advisory, forensic technology and analytical solutions
