The Senior GCC Analyst provides front-line support to external customers of CME Group for technical, product, trading, application support and functionality. GCC also provides internal customers to provide market-event trend enquires and trend analysis. In this role, the Senior GCC Analyst works regularly in a customer facing capacity to deliver informational assistance via telephone and electronic means. Performing analysis on market conditions and monitoring order flow in a fast-paced environment to deliver an accurate assessment to senior GCC management and Business Line Managers. For this role the analyst will have a passion for solving problems and delivering excellent customer service. The candidate will deliver advanced market and technical assistance for front-end trading platforms, market data, match engine functionality and perform advanced data analysis.
Responsibilities will include some of the following as well as additional related functions:
Perform investigations for both internal and external clients - be able to articulate challenging and complex problems and solutions to a broad range of audiences in written and verbal responses
Field customer enquiries related to market events, connectivity, business technologies and products
Evaluate and monitor market activity and order flow for efficiency and anomalous behavior.
Develop ad-hoc queries and perform complex data analysis to create data driven solutions to support or change policy, process procedures and technologies
Experience with investigative and analytical tools such as Tableau, Looker and Python
Administrator error trade resolution and price limit moves for all asset classes
Perform investigations for both internal and external clients with the ability to articulate challenging and complex problems and solutions to a broad range of audiences
Qualifications:
Prior customer support experience via telephone and electronic means
A solid knowledge of Futures, Options and OTC products across Commodities, Equities, Short-Term Interest Rates, FX Derivatives - including Digital Currencies and Energies
Experience with leading industry charting/news platforms and front-ends, such as Bloomberg, Trading Technologies and CME Direct.
Experience:
Previous experience within trading, technical support, and market analysis
The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Advanced understanding of electronic trading
Data Visualizations and Automation a plus
Cash Markets experience a plus
Ability to work both as an individual and as a team
Self-motivation to learn
