Zions Bancorp is looking for a Vulnerability Operations Analyst who can think in an analytical way about our vulnerability risks and standards, then work with cross-functional teams to guide them toward improvement efforts. As the Vulnerability Operations Analyst you will be an integral part of an infrastructure technology team. You will have a direct impact on driving improvements within the Technology Reliability Engineering and Operations (TREO) group.
Responsibilities:
Create reports, communicate solutions, and drive vulnerability management results.
Survey team members and peer groups
Organize departmental content
Craft progress reports and presentations to keep your stakeholders informed and engaged.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science or related field and 4+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, systems or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication; must be able to communicate across business line and skill level
Documentation development and maintenance
Control and Standard development and testing
Develop risk-based mitigation strategies for networks, operating systems and applications
Producing, publishing, and distributing operational reports pertaining to the status of products and vulnerabilities
Problem-solving
Analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities
Organizing team artifacts, projects, and work queues
Project management
Ensure meeting notes are kept and progress is well documented
Acting as a liaison with various departments, management, and staff to coordinate remediation efforts and mitigate risk
Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate vulnerability management reports
Additional Skills
Technical writing
Basic level understanding of Windows and Unix operating systems
Basic level understanding of WepSphere, Apache, PHP, and other applications
Experience working in a cyber security operations center environment
KPI reporting and validation

This position will be located at our brand new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT. (We have a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home)
